Father Derpface was first encountered in the second episode of PewDiePie's playthrough of Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi. Derpface was discovered about immediently at the beginning of the episode, as he was seen being rather rudely thrown thrown out of one of the East Wing's top floor windows. He gave PewDiePie the Crucifix as soon as he met him, but he was seriously injured and required medical healing before PewDiePie was able to bring him back to the Sanctuary. At the end of the episode, PewDiePie kills Father Derpface, stating it was only an accident. He said not to tell anyone, but, apparently, a Barrel seen the incident.
In the third episode, after PewDiePie killed Father Derpface, he was lying on his back which revealed his face to be very 'funny' looking, in which PewDiePie named his 'Father Derpface.'
In the sixth episode, PewDiePie eventually found the doctor named Dr. Amersfield who heald Father Derpface's wounds. Once he was wounded, Derpface told PewDiePie about how he sealed the entrance to the vampire's crypt below the East Wing. Father Derpface then told PewDiePie to locate his heavenly scroll to dispel the magical aura that seals the entrance to the crypt. From that saying, PewDiePie determined that Father Derpface was on drugs, or was 'high.' PewDiePie had a dislike for the way Father Derpface walked - in a manner where he walking with his hands in a praying position.
Once they reached the Sactuary, Father Derpface granted PewDiePie an ancient chalice that contained holy water, which is a powerful weapon against the monsters.
PewDiePie seems to not care about Father Derpface that much, as he sees him as a disgrace. Although, PewDiePie trusts him, and usually requests him to give him more holy water for the chalice.
